Claims Procedure


CUSTOMER CLAIM PROCEDURE

IN THE EVENT OF A FAILURE OF A COVERED COMPONENT, you must follow this procedure:
1.    Take your Vehicle to a Jerry Seiner Dealership or one of the 25,000 ASE service providers.  If this is not possible or practical, call the Administrator for instructions -1-800-669-2349
2.    Show the repairing service provider evidence that the required servicing has been performed.
3.    The service provider will get advance approval of servicing to be performed
4.    Pay the applicable deductible.
5.    Pay any tax and shop supplies when applicable.

Reminder:  Coverage applies only to mechanical failure which occurs in the Continental US or Canada.

SERVICE PROVIDER
CLAIM SETTLEMENT PROCEDURES

OUR SIMPLIFIED CLAIM SETTLEMENT PROCEDURES REQUIRE ONLY THE FOLLOWING:

1.    Read the Vehicle Service Contract and verify coverage.

2.    Phone the Administrator for a claim number:  1-800-669-2349.
    
    REMINDER:    Phone prior to commencing the repair, with the estimated cost of repairs, estimation may require revision per authorization of adjustor.  You will be given a claim authorization number or an independent adjuster may be assigned.

3.    The repairing dealer sends copy of the completed repair order, with the authorized claim number, and all supporting documentations to the Administrator as soon as repairs are completed.

4.    No claims will be paid without an authorization number.

5.    All claims must be submitted within sixty (60) days of the authorization date.

REMEMBER:
•    Call if you have questions

•    Authorization for inspection/teardown comes from the Owner

•    Collect deductibles(s), cost of shop materials, sales tax (as applicable), or incidentals from the Owner.

•    Repair Orders must be complete, signed and legible.

•    Flat rate hours will be determined by factory flat rate manual.

•    Claim payment will be made when all documents have been receied by the Administrator.
